OVERVIEW

International Grammar School has been established to ensure and provide quality education to compete the global standard of education for the children of Northern Bangladesh especially for the greater Rangpur Districts, the most disaster prone areas of Bangladesh. This region has been experiencing long hazards of natural disaster like flood, drought, cold wave and famine-Monga which shatter the economic life of the people and create obstacle to improve their better livelihood. As people of this zone are very hard working and laborious, they have the courage to overcome all the natural disaster they face and enhance their effort to re-build their economic and social life. Overcoming all the devastation people of the region so far trying to develop their economy though it is only agrarian with all primitive methods and to stand on developed stage and they continue having all improved and technological support in their economy.

VISION of IGS

To provide quality education through innovative approaches using modern technology with global teaching skill and knowledge through international standard of curriculum (especially British standard) as well as national curriculum in English version up to 'O - A' level as well as Higher Secondary and Under Graduation Courses.

OBJECTIVES of IGS

To ensure and provide quality education to compete the global standard of education for the children of Northern Bangladesh especially for the greater Rangpur Districts.
To provide all children with a secure health services, better care, friendly and well organized environment where discipline is firm fair and consistent.
To ensure that all children will receive equal regard and access to the curriculum.

MISSION of IGS

Promotion of learning and transmission of knowledge providing the students with quality international/ global standard of learning in all fields of education. Creation of new knowledge aiming at modern science & technology to face the challenge of present century. Protecting students proceeding abroad to have modern education wasting foreign currency.

CURRICULAM OF IGS

IGS follows British curriculum of the ADEXCEL International under the university of Landon and National Text Book Board Curriculum in English version. Though english medium education is given priority in the IGS, the syllabus will also cover Bengali literature, religious studies, general science, mathematics and social studies as well as computer learning in English version.
